Frames At Large was an invitational art event organized by artist Angela Eastman.  Community members at Cranbrook Academy of Art were invited to "check out" an artist-made metal frame.  The frames were intended to be used as perspective tools, a physical object that allows the user to "re-see" their everyday environment.  The above images are examples of participant uses for the frames.

Framing, mapping, using lines to make space; composing a view to see it more clearly.  Highlighting particularities of observation that give rise to a common ground of relational experience.  What makes us slow down enough to examine the spaces we inhabit, and does doing so make us appreciate those spaces and their inherent qualities more?
